International Certificate of Competency (ICC)

Individual who aspire to extend their sailing adventure skipper a bareboat charter in the Great Lakes, Virgin Islands or other popular boating destinations should require Intermediate Cruising Standard Certification.   Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded the appropriate Sail Canada certification to be recorded in your International Cruising Logbook recognized the world over by other national authorities.

At a minimum the student must hold a Sail Canada Intermediate Cruising and a Basic Coastal Navigation Certificate or equivalent in experience. To be successful, the student must demonstrate their on water sailing skills to a satisfactory level plus pass the ICC exam, Anyone interested in taking this course will be required to review the theory material on line before the challenge date.

This course will include on water participant skills demonstration and write the ICC Theory Exam
